Clear Metals Inc. in co-authorship with ACP (Advanced Clean Production) gives a presentation “Electrochemical Printing of Metal Oxides: Equipment and Process for Applications in Printable Electronics and Batteries”.
Recently Clear Metals Inc. (CMI) has developed a revolutionary electrochemical platform and rapid prototyping R&D equipment that enables the manufacturing of functional metal oxide coatings for advanced flat panel displays (electrochromic, OLED), touch screens, next generation transparent electronics products and energy storage products (thin-film batteries, Li-ion batteries, supercapacitors etc). CMI electrochemical platform can be used for deposition of a wide variety of oxide coatings including but not limited to ZnO, Al2O3, In2O3, SnO2, WO3, NiO, MnO2, V2O5, TiO2, and ZrO2.
The new electrochemical platform provides uniformity over large areas confirmed during laboratory trials performed in scanning electroplating unit. The method is unique in its ability to deposit coatings on a single side of a substrate without masking.
